Sponsors
Sponsoring membership offers companies the opportunity of actively supporting FLOSSUK’s events while making it easier for FLOSSUK to further its aims and objectives.
A sponsoring membership provides an ideal mechanism to make new contacts, exchange views, and debate technical matters and other areas of interest. This involvement can increase the profile of a sponsor company by its association with this leading, independent group.
Introduction
For several years, we have offered a sponsoring membership category. This allows sponsoring companies to gain exposure at our events on a regular and on-going basis.
There are six categories of sponsoring membership: Open/Affiliate, General, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum. The details are outlined below.
Flexible sponsorship of single events (outside the sponsoring membership scheme) is also available: speak to us if that is more suitable to your needs.
Benefits to all sponsors include
- Literature for distribution in delegate bags.
- Free conference passes to man a conference stall (does not include entry to talks or events nor conference dinner).
- Logo and one paragraph of text on the conference web site and yearly organisation annual.
- Listed on the organisations website under sponsors.
- Mentioned in conference publicity and email.
- One membership (for voting and official positions – excluding associate/open community sponsors).
Sponsorship monies will be used for a variety of items including the conference dinner, speaker, travel, bursaries and other conference related costs. As we sponsor other events in the UK including Barcamps, Unconferences and Open Tech there will be opportunity to further promote your sponsorship of the conference and FLOSSUK at those events. Sponsors are also featured in our yearly printed annual.
The FLOSSUK Youtube channel receives over 900 monthly views with an audience predominantly in the age range of 25-45 with a technical or open technology preference.

If you wish to sponsor a separate amount, have a sponsorship proposal that is different to what has been suggested above or consider an annual sponsorship of the organisation then please do not hesitate to contact us.
We accept all contributions as an open organisation.
We should be grateful if you would contact council at the FLOSSUK Board – council@flossuk.org
